It’s that time of the year again! The South Carolina Association of School Librarians, or SCASL, has released the book award nominees for 2016-2017. Each year, since 1976, SCASL has nominated 20 books for 4 categories: Picture Book Award, Children’s Book Award, Junior Book Award and the Young Adult Book Award. Here are the nominees for the Junior and Young Adult Book Awards.
